There's no way streaming over network will give you playable latency.

It can! I got the basic idea from this reddit thread, but the instructions were unclear and didn't work, so I figured it out and made a guide.

Huh, that's really cool actually. I'm pleasantly surprised!

Sorry for the late response, that means you have the wrong device selected.

Idea for audio capturing: Connect a aux cable to switch and the computer you streaming to.

I actually thought about that, but the slight latency might be more noticable. I'll try it out later with Audacity.

Make sure hardware-accelerated decoding is set to automatic in VLC.

USB Setup (Skip if using network):
- Connect your switch to your PC via USB (Tested using USB 3.0)
- Launch Zadig
- Install the libusb-win32 driver for the device SysDVR (Nintendo Switch) [Ensure the Device ID is 057e 3006 before installing]
The thrid step isn't possible if you don't start SysDVR in your Switch beforehand. Your guide doesn't mention it anywhere. Because the SysDVR (Nintendo Switch) entry doesn't appear otherwise

Tried again but same as before there is always a little lag that does not make playable the game. I tried USB mode.
In your guide the USBmode does not work if you use bridge <IP addess>

Well, not really? I had to start SysDVR config and set it to start when I turn the console on. After that, yeah, it starts in their own.
What I mean is I had to go to another thread to find that out. It wouldn't hurt having that info here.

My bad, must be specific to network setup. What exactly should I add to the guide?

In this step, that is already in your guide: "ll the libusb-win32 driver for the device SysDVR (Nintendo Switch) [Ensure the Device ID is 057e 3006 before installing]", just add something along the lines of "The Device won't show unless you already started SysDVR from the SysDVR config homebrew. If you configured SysDVR before, it should be started when you turn on your console."

A new version of SysDvr is in development with a reduced latency. I think the dev is near the release, so better to wait
